Following numbers #1 and #2 of my “Nature-Tecture” series, #3, #4 and #5 also juxtapose architectural forms with plant life, however in these works, the plants are making a louder statement as they burst through their gates, portals and columns, in harmony with my own burst of frustration and fear.
As witness to the changes in climate in the past few decades, I see a dissolution of harmony between that which is manmade and the natural world. The plants, trees, and flowers I present here are sending a message: that they are present, vital, growing. And I ask: What are we doing to protect the health of our planet?
