Infrastructure -- 17"Hx16"Wx1.5"D
Intrigued by the visual medley of streets and highways – lanes, bridges, poles, wires, lights, walls, and signs – I created this work to convey a life journey – a story of direction, obstacles, and hope for new horizons. Traveling the ‘road’ of life has taught me that the human experience is not a straight path, but one of twists and turns. On the way to a specific goal, a global event, personal tragedy, or physical frailty can change my direction in an instant. The road takes a turn, and I turn with it to discover what the challenge can teach me and where it will lead. New pathways await, creating a new infrastructure for me to explore.
This work is professionally framed and ready for hanging. The frame is white and the work floats atop a white mat. To highlight yet protect the three-dimensional elements of this work, I invested in non-glare Museum Acrylic as its cover.
