Nature-Tecture #4 8"Hx9.75"Wx1.5"D
As part of my “Nature-Tecture” series, Nature-Tecture #4 juxtaposes architectural forms with plant life. In this piece, the plants are bursting forth from behind the man-made forms, asking to be noticed and sending a message: that they are present, vital, and growing. As witness to the changes in climate in the past few decades, I see a dissolution of harmony between that which is manmade and the nature world. And I ask: What are we doing to protect the health of our planet?
This work is professionally framed and ready for hanging. The frame is white and the work floats atop a white mat. To highlight yet protect the three-dimensional elements of this work, I invested in non-glare Museum Acrylic as its cover.
